A beautifully sculpted set of six Model 16 dining chairs designed by Johannes Andersen for Uldum Møbelfabrik, Denmark, circa 1960s.

One of Andersen’s most recognisable dining chair designs, the Model 16 perfectly captures the softer, organic lines that defined Danish modern furniture during the period. The sweeping solid teak backrests flow seamlessly into the rear supports, giving the chairs an elegant floating appearance from almost every angle.

This set retains a rich warm teak tone with beautifully figured grain throughout, paired with brown upholstered seats that sit comfortably within the solid teak frames. The proportions are exceptionally well balanced - refined enough for a formal dining setting while still feeling relaxed and functional.
