Nordås Møbler Teak & Cane Vanity Mirror, Norway, Circa 1970
Description
A beautifully sculptural Norwegian modern vanity mirror by Nordås Møbler, dating from the late 1960s to early 1970s.
Crafted in richly toned teak, the mirror features elegant upright supports, woven cane inset panels and a small integrated drawer with its original organic pull. The architectural silhouette gives the piece a strong decorative presence despite its compact footprint.
Designed as a dressing or hall mirror, it works equally well placed on a chest of drawers, sideboard or console table.
A rare and characterful example of Norwegian modern design with a warmth and softness that feels incredibly current again.
Condition is very good vintage throughout, with light age-related wear consistent with age. Cane panels remain intact and the mirror plate presents well.
A striking and increasingly hard-to-find Scandinavian piece.
