Nathan Squares Mid Century Modern Sideboard
Description
A beautifully proportioned Nathan ‘Squares’ teak sideboard, dating from the 1960s.
The generous cabinet is arranged with three drawers above three cupboard sections, each door featuring Nathan’s distinctive raised square panel detailing. The original circular brass ring handles complement the warm teak beautifully, while the tapered legs give the piece a surprisingly light and elegant appearance.
The figured teak has a lovely warm honey tone, with a beautifully finished top and plenty of practical storage.
A particularly good example of Nathan’s British mid-century design, with the geometric door fronts giving it considerably more character than the more familiar plain-fronted teak sideboards of the period.
