Johannes Andersen for Silkeborg Møbelfabrik Teak Nest of Three Tables, Denmark, 1960s
Description
Designed by the celebrated Danish designer Johannes Andersen for Silkeborg Møbelfabrik, this beautifully proportioned nest of three tables perfectly captures the refined simplicity of Scandinavian modern design.
Crafted in richly grained solid teak and teak veneer, each table features Andersen's signature softly rounded edges and elegant sled-style legs, allowing the three pieces to nest seamlessly together when not in use. The largest table incorporates a woven cane lower shelf, providing both practical storage and a wonderful textural contrast against the warm teak.
Wonderfully versatile, the tables can be used individually as side tables throughout a room or kept together as a striking nested set. Their clean lines and exceptional craftsmanship make them equally suited to both period interiors and contemporary homes.
Professionally cleaned and polished in our workshop, the set presents beautifully with only the light, age-related signs of use expected from well-cared-for vintage furniture.
A timeless piece of Danish modern design from one of the movement's most respected designers.
