G-Plan Long John Coffee Table by Ib Kofod-Larsen
£495.00
Description
A beautifully proportioned G-Plan Long John coffee table, designed for the Danish Range and commonly attributed to Danish designer Ib Kofod-Larsen.
Dating from the 1960s, the table has a wonderfully long, slender teak top with gently rounded edges, elegant tapered legs and the distinctive slatted magazine shelf beneath. The combination of the warm teak grain and beautifully shaped timber frame gives the piece a particularly Scandinavian character.
A lovely example of G-Plan's more design-led work from the period, and a considerably more interesting piece than the more familiar G-Plan ranges.
