A refined Danish teak tall chest designed and manufactured by Tibergaard, made in Denmark during the 1960s. Sculptural in form and beautifully proportioned, this piece reflects the clean, architectural approach that defines classic Danish modern furniture.

The upper section features sliding teak cupboard doors, offering discreet enclosed storage while maintaining an uninterrupted front elevation. Below, three wide drawers provide generous storage, all raised on elegantly tapered solid teak legs that give the cabinet a light, floating presence.

Richly grained teak veneer is used throughout, complemented by solid teak detailing and carefully finished edges. Versatile in function and timeless in appearance, this tall chest works equally well in a bedroom, dressing room, or refined living space.

The piece is stamped “Made in Denmark Designed by Tibergaard”. The design is widely attributed to the circle of Gunnar Nielsen Tibergaard.
