A beautifully made Danish teak bureau by Hanbjerg Møbelfabrik, dating from the 1960s. This is a clean-lined, compact piece that works just as well as a writing desk or dressing table. The design is classic Danish—sculpted drawer pulls, raised side lips, and elegant tapered legs. The top section opens to reveal a concealed mirror, while the lower half offers three wide drawers with loads of storage.

It’s functional, well-proportioned, and has that warm teak grain that always hits the right note. A lovely example of thoughtful mid-century design that’s just as useful today as it was back then.
