Description

An exceptional Danish rosewood drinks cabinet, attributed to Niels Erik Glasdam Jensen for Vantinge Møbelindustri, dating from the mid-1960s. Beautifully understated when closed, the cabinet opens to reveal a striking white melamine interior with twin lift-up serving surfaces, bottle storage and thoughtfully designed cocktail preparation space. The beautifully figured rosewood veneers, crisp architectural lines and superb craftsmanship are everything you would expect from high-quality Danish Modern furniture.

Acquired from the original owners, who confirmed it has remained in the same UK family since the 1960s, this is an exceptionally rare example that we have been unable to find another of. Whether admired as a statement piece or used as intended for entertaining, it is a wonderful example of timeless Scandinavian design and a superb addition to any mid-century interior.
