1960s McIntosh Roundette Teak Extending Dining Table & 4 Tuck-Under Chairs

A beautifully designed space-saving dining set by A.H. McIntosh of Kirkcaldy, dating from the 1960s/70s.

Crafted in teak, the set comprises a circular extending dining table with four matching chairs cleverly designed to tuck neatly beneath the table when not in use. A particularly smart piece of British mid-century design, creating a remarkably compact footprint without compromising on seating.

The four chairs have slender teak frames with curved upholstered backrests and seats, retaining their wonderfully textured period fabric in warm neutral tones.

The table extends when additional dining space is required, making this a practical and stylish set particularly well suited to smaller dining rooms, kitchens and apartments.

Presented in good vintage condition with age-related wear. There is a minor mark to the tabletop which remains visible on close inspection and is reflected in the price.
